چکیده

Since the requirements in terms of power of the electronic applications range wide, the 11 developed Energy Harvesting (EH) systems limit their availability to the less power demanding 12 applications. However, this paper focuses on increasing the energy levels collected in the EH 13 system so that it can be included in more demanding applications in terms of power. Therefore, an 14 electronic system capable of grouping many single harvesting channels into one single system is 15 analyzed in this paper. This multi-harvester electronic system is able to manage efficiently the 16 energy collected by multiple vibratory transducers. The paper includes a comparison of its 17 performance against some of the State-of-the-Art EH energy management circuits that interface the 18 transducers. The method employed to demonstrate the intrinsic efficiency of each of the electronic 19 circuits tested was based on experimental tests, where the average power transferred from several 20 identical and simultaneous electric sources to a single storage element was measured. It was found 21 out that only one energy management circuit was able to increase the transferred energy in a linear 22 way while new input electric sources were added. 23

Shape Design Optimization of Unimorph Piezoelectric Cantilever Energy Harvester

The most promising method for micro scale energy scavenging is via vibration energy harvesting which converts mechanical energy to electrical energy. Using piezoelectric cantilevers is the most common method for vibration energy harvesting. Changing the shape of the cantilevers can lead to changing the generated output voltage and power. In this work vibration energy harvesting via piezoelectri...
